We are excited to be back for another summer! We will have both Half Day Camps for Little Roamers, Full Day Camps for Big Roamers and our Rollin’ Roamers Full Day Bike Camps this July and we are offering Full Day Camps for Big Roamers in August.
Our Rollin’ Roamers Bike Camp will venture along the Coquitlam River and Traboulay PoCo trails, pausing at many great spots along the Coquitlam River, making sure we keep cool throughout the day. Riders must be able to ride with a group on gravel trails, know how to use their brakes and come with a bike in good working order.
All our camps convene at Lions Park in Port Coquitlam, providing a consistent drop-off location for families with children in different programs.
Little Roamers Camps are centered around child-led play and exploration, allowing younger participants to engage with nature at their own pace.
Big Roamers and Rollin’ Roamers Camps are action-packed with group games and nature-inspired activities. Every week is a new adventure, as we adapt to the group’s interests and the ever-changing environment.
Some weeks, kids might focus on building forts and bridges; other times, they could be fascinated by fishing or water play. To keep things exciting, we introduce a fresh theme each week such as Survivor Challenge Week, Aquatic Life Week, and Sasquatch Week.
No two weeks are the same at outdoor camp—every day is a chance to explore, create, and have fun!
Camps will run rain or shine. Each child needs to carry their own backpack containing a snack, (lunch and snacks if attending the Big Roamers Full Day or Rollin’ Roamers Camps) water bottle, sunscreen (already applied prior to class) and appropriate clothing. Please see “What to wear” on this page for our warm, dry weather clothing recommendations. There are also special requirements for the Rollin’ Roamers camp listed on the page below. Educators will have extra water with them for children if needed.
Note: Our locations are subject to changed depending on various safety factors such as weather, wildlife or other environmental factors.
Cancellation Policy: To withdraw from the camp, 30 days written notice from the beginning of your first camp is required. You may receive 50% of fees back. There will be no full refunds regardless of when you registered.
